The art of life

We are a small center for inner retreat and try to treat each other with love.

The diet is vegetarian and carefully prepared. We try to accept everyday life as it is.

The practice of Buddhist meditation helps us with this. She accompanies our work as a good friend and supports the healing of mind and body. It is not always easy to implement the wealth of knowledge, to balance the skills and difficulties. The basis of mindfulness and the culture of the heart are the tools for the whole person and for the diversity of everyday events.

Spiritual friendship cordially connects us to several Buddhist and religious communities (Anenja Vihara, Tibetan Möhra, Babaji Haidakhan and others), and to the Christian teachings in which we grew up.

Dear Dhamma friends,

dear helpers in the Kulturwerkstatt Klein Raden,

I would like to introduce you to "voluntary work" and the "Kalyana-mitta", the "noble friend". As described in the Buddha's teachings: loved, respected and honored. Blaming evil, yielding, a man who speaks the deep lesson, never spurring to wrong deed, (Nyanatikola) - benevolent, matured in age.

I hope this helps for a good understanding. With this in mind, I try to help everyone as much as I can. Such good deeds serve the well-being of all beings without distinction and pursuit of profit. Certainly it is not always easy when suffering accumulates - spiritually, physically and materially, also in interpersonal relationships to find the golden mean, the right tone and action. It is in fact about the right effort.

A good friend helps to overcome evil, patient and compassionate. He knows about the difficulty of human willingness to change. It should be help for self-help. Letting go and wanting to get rid of bad habits that harm us must be well differentiated. Wisdom is aimed at freeing the mind from suffering, from addictions and inhibitions: lust (greed), ill will, dullness and lassitude, excitement and unrest, doubtfulness (Buddha teachings). To replace this with the good, with kindness, joy, compassion and equanimity (brahma vihara) to live a happy and contented life.
